I found Ashley last winter to work with my three year old, rude, recently gelded WB. When he came over to the states, he was so much less trained than we thought. He was wild, unpredictable and barely broke. She has had him for the past year. He is now a sweet, confident and fun to be around horse. Even my 12 year olds have gotten on and walked him around. She has done an amazing job with him and his training. In addition to her training skills, she is organized, her facility is kept impeccable and she goes above and beyond. She provides the best care in the 30 years I have had horses. There is just not enough space to write how wonderful she is.

Ashley is a fearless, talented rider who has joined the ranks of elite equestrians by earning her USDF Gold Medal.  She has trained difficult horses that other good trainers have given up on. Many of these horses have gone on to reach their potential as FEI athletes.  Even though she has had the opportunity to work with very high quality horses and riders, she gives the same enthusiasm and attention to horses and riders of all levels.  Ashley has a kind, clear style of teaching and manages to instill in her students high standards of horsemanship.

Under Ashley’s training program, she manages to find a way to get through to these horses and teach them to enjoy their jobs.  Consistently, each of Ashley’s horses takes to her training program and easily progresses up the levels. I really appreciate the fact that it is important to Ashley that her horses have a well-balanced training program where turn-out, hacking, jumping, and gymnastics are a priority.

Ashley is a great all around horsewoman with a thirst for knowledge.  She is engaged and treats all horses as if they were her own. She is incredibly dedicated, willing to go above and beyond the call of duty, no matter what time of day or night.  Ashley also has a special way with horses and seems to be able to ‘get inside the brains’ of even the most difficult of horses. Much of this is because of her boundless patience and empathy.  Many horse people never attain this ability. Without doubt, I would trust Ashley with any horses of my own, and if it were her desire, I would hire her to my veterinary practice.
