Rotspon / Dormello / Donnerhall

He is an extremely sweet horse who has a wonderful personality and rideability, not surprising given his excellent pedigree. Teddy’s sire Rotspon was the Hanoverian Stallion of the Year in 2017 and has produced numerous approved sons. His mother is by Dormello (Dream of Heidelburg) out of a Donnerhall mare, and includes on both sides the classic Donnerhall blood that is a foundation of dressage breeding. Teddy is barn favorite well behaved for handling and all vendors. At turning seven years old, he is working on continuing to develop balance in his big gaits and is schooling all third level movements. He is well started with the collected work (piaffe, passage, and pirouettes) and shows tremendous talent for these difficult movements. Lateral work is a highlight and he shows excellent reach while maintaining rhythm in his this work. He is extremely well behaved in all new environments; settles in quickly at horse shows, is super to hack out alone or with a friend, and enjoys variety in his work. Teddy is very uncomplicated to ride and is suitable for an adult amateur or professional looking for a talented horse to move through the levels.

Sacre Coeur (“Scarlett”)

2012 16.1h Chestnut Oldenburg Mare

Sir Gregory / Rio Grande / Rollicking xx

Sacre Coeur (aka Scarlett) is a stunning 16.1h chestnut Oldenburg mare by Sir Gregory. Scarlett is a very sweet girl who is very fancy and athletic in a smaller package! She is an exceptional all around athlete, and excels both in the dressage arena and over fences. She is seven years old is has changes and lateral work through third level with plenty of talent for more. She was in partial training with a professional hunter/jumper trainer over the past winter and shows endless potential as a hunter with more development and experience. She loves to jump and would enjoy a home where she could have some variety in her program. Scarlett is very soft and sensitive in the bridle and nicely forward thinking to ride. She is equally happy working outside, in the arena, or at a horse show and has been very well behaved in all situations. She tries very very hard for her rider and is a horse that will do best with a kind rider who has quiet hands. She would be the perfect mount for a Junior dressage rider who would like to be competitive in the FEI Junior divisions and have a younger horse who has the ability to move up to the Young Rider level. She would also be suitable for a hunter rider who aims to develop to the Small Junior Hunter level with training. Video available upon request, please PM for more information. She can be tried at Yellow Wood Dressage, Inc in Chesapeake City, MD.

P’Zazz (“Sassy”)

2010 16.3h Hanoverian Mare

Paparazzo x Abdullah

“Sassy” is a stunning Hanoverian mare who has already had a successful show career in the hunter ring. She recently joined us at Yellow Wood Dressage to begin her dressage training and has steadily improved in the few months since she arrived. While she is still green learning the tricks, she is a quick study and is already capable of doing first level. She is playing with some second level lateral work and has a confirmed clean flying change. In no time at all, she will be ready for third level! Her owner’s daughter has moved on and so Sassy is ready for her next career! She is sweet in the barn, has shown extensively, trailers well, and is eager to learn. She is more on the sensitive side and is forward thinking, so not suitable for a beginner at this time but would be fantastic for an adult amateur or JR/YR working with a professional. Someone is going to get a lovely horse for a reasonable price that will be able to enjoy progressing through the levels. Priced at $30k.
