Ashley is a well-rounded trainer with experience training young horses through Grand Prix. She has successfully competed breeding stallions and sales horses in addition to her long term training horses. Ashley has had good success in the show ring at top levels and is a cool competitor. With much of her experience training and competing at FEI levels, Ashley has also successfully started young horses and competed in the FEI Young Horse Classes. She is well educated in all aspects of care and management of the top equine athlete. Ashley posesses extensive veterinary knowledge, and is extremely comfortable putting together a nutrition and exercise program to meet the needs of any individual. Ashley’s training focuses on rideability and responsiveness to create a horse that is happy in its work and focused on the rider. In addition to her regular training duties, Ashley has rehabilitated many horses coming back from injury and is called upon often for this job because of her expertise and understanding of these horses’ specific needs. She is able to work well with veterinarians and farriers to ensure that these horses have the best chance at a successful recovery.

“So many qualities come to mind when trying to describe what I value most in a riding coach, but these three stand out: Intelligence, Integrity and Compassion. Ashley Madison exhibits these traits naturally as a human being, add to that her innate abilities as a trainer, her work ethic, her ever present desire to learn, and to share these gifts, and you’ve got a true gem. She has made our journey a joy, looking forward to many more years of inspiration and support from our favorite mentor!”
